  • 91 Lumina fuel sender supply vs return

I replaced the 12v fuel pump for the fuel sender unit and did not mark the supply vs return nipples for the corresponding supply/return fuel lines. I not have the factory Service manual. Anyone have a PDF or a snippet to ID all parts of the fuel sender/pump unit lines ?

Are you talking about at the fuel pump assembly, or at the fuel rail?

I was referring to the return and supply lines that originate at the pump.

Being that the fuel tank and everything else is still readily accessible, I went ahead and removed the fuel pump just enough to differentiate supply vs return. After that, reinserted the fuel pump sender and placed the locking ring back on....

Best bet is to REMEMBER to mark your Supply and Return lines at the pump and the corresponding lines going to the front end of the vehicle's fuel mgmt system.
