Where does the paired wire yellow & purple go to after leaving the ignition coil module? The pair toward the driver's side firewall. See Picture.Click image for larger version

It goes to the crank position sensor (3x) on the back side of the block.

How do you get to that sensor to replace it, my wires broke (at the sensor) and I can't see where its at?

It's not fun with an auto trans in the way, here is a picture to show you it's general location (right in the middle, towards the bottom of the block)

To back up what Dave said, most guys try to reach it from the passenger side wheel well, if they have long arms. If you tried from the rear, you are going to need to at least drop the downpipe and hope you can get it from there. It might be a pain to get out of the block as well. I've heard of people having a hard time working them out of the block after removing the retaining bolt.

I usually go from under the car and just reach around the trans or you can get it from the top if you have skinny arms. OP, you are just replacing the wire right? If so then you have it easy.

I can crawl under and reach straight up to it Most aren't so lucky though. W bodies (and mini-vans for that matter) have the rack bolted to the subframe, so you've got that to reach around as well, not like a J and N mounted to the firewall.
