Hi to all, the 3100 from 95-96 supposedly had roller rockers, part # 24504436 , at a 1.6 to 1 ratio , will these rockers fit a 88 HO IRON cylinder head ?? If the year I quoted was wrong please correct me, would they bolt on or will the stud have to be changed out ?? thanks for all help, Bill..

A dremel tool or grinder to remove the tabs, proper size pushrods and some patience will make them work. You'll have to widen the pushrod guides just a little to help with clearance but they'll screw right into the iron heads. I'm actually running that combo in my fiero. I'm over 400 miles away from my desktop right now so I can't send you a picture of it, but you might be able to find it on the Fiero forum where I posted it for someone else who asked the question last month I believe.Originally posted by rvbilly View PostHi to all, the 3100 from 95-96 supposedly had roller rockers, part # 24504436 , at a 1.6 to 1 ratio , will these rockers fit a 88 HO IRON cylinder head ?? The reason machining the heads to fit the rockers as is would be a difficult task to do correctly is because the iron heads do not have splayed valves so you have to improvise a little on clearance between the rockers.Last edited by Guest; 04-13-2007, 08:36 AM.
