if i remember correctly, if you know what you're doing you can get a 3400 top to flow as well as a 3500.

oh ok yea its cause theres a machine shop that works on porting and stuff around here where i live and i wasnt sure if u could do that on the manifold without first asking the guy there at the shop thanx for the answer

oops, i read that wrong. i don't know about port sizes, although what i said earlier about flow should be right?

no, the 3400 cannot flow the same as a ported 3500 upper if you use the larger 3500 gasket size. The 3400 upper should not be ported to this size at all.

2.68 sq in vs 2.28 sq in for the port size at the top of the runner.
