no you cant. they sit offset in the rod.
i believe mine needed turned down .085" per rod to fit the crank. so not much.
bearing p/n- cb745 HN
these bearings are clevite high performance, and are the perfect width for the machined rods

I'll leave that to someone who's done the mod, but I believe the locating tangs are different/in different spots.

.1l displacement loss really isn't a loss when you consider the insurance you now have in your bottom end, especially when it will be made up many times over from going with boost.

yeah thats very true but i wouldnt go that crazy..just improve it alittle. the gears are huge and it pisses me off..but i also like maxing out at around 130mph..that would go away if i changed gears for acceleration like u said.

Yes, you can. Will it help out your drivetrain loss? Nope... And yes, there are threads discussing building up and modifying a 4T4x-E.

so to account for the difference like pocket-rocket stated..its mostly drive train loss cuz of my 4spd auto.. i dont want to thread jack too much but is there a way to change FDR and gears in a 4t45e? is there a thread already or should i start a new one.
