I have two coming in the mail to me, one with brackets and one without, I think other than custom pieces from the driveshaft shop, this jack shaft the best option for the 282, obviously outside shaft depends on the vehicle....

I would buy one! I found a great deal on an 88 gt parts car but the guy never got back to me. Ended up buying a 90z parts car but I would love to get my hands on one of these.

Do have pics of the bolts and brackets?Originally posted by Superdave View Postit usually asks about the vin number as well..
find one of the yards that has one in a Beretta and call them, have them actually go out and verify that it has the aluminium housing. Make sure to get all the bolts and the bracket.

so all the ones listed are interchangeable, but only the beretta gt's had the aluminum cased ones? ok, and yes what about the vin #, up to 500000, and 500001 +, or something like that?
Thanks, Kyle

1988 beretta gt jack shaft
Ok, so I am trying to get my hands on one of these jack shafts. I was told that it only came in the 1988 beretta gt, mt, 2.8. When i search on car-part.com it is pulling up 87-89 beretta, corsicas, and cavaliers. So who is right? I need to get one ASAP so i can get back to colorado to finish the 5 speed swap.
Thanks, KyleTags: None
