edit* ive gotten a few pms due to disbelief i will have enough power to make mid-low 11's.. well here's the bottom end .
Yeah the 3100 is in the Fiero now. I got it running a few months ago. I've been having some issues since day one though. I believe it's time to drop in another engine. I'm tired of trying to fix this 3100. Soon I'll be building a 3400/3500 hybrid and it will be completely rebuilt.

But yeah, GL with the new build! Hopefully you will hit your goal of 11s and show some people what these little engines are capable of.

Wow I focking hate computers anyways from the two pictures my pos computer let me see it looks like your bottom end is pretty similar to mine I have no doubts at all that you will break 11's.

Some people just underestimate these engines which is why I can't wait until a few builds like yours gets finished so we can start showing some numbers.

Hey Paul, where the hell have you been? Do you not come on v6z24 anymore? Damn that is a nice build. The port work deffinately looks top-notch. You're car has always been fast and with the build engine 11s are very possible. Good luck with it.

Since we are showing off engines, I'll attach mine.

that looks good i think. im having just the uim, and valve covers powdercoated. the guy wanted ALOT to do the lim and timing cover too. i just sprayed those with some dark iron color high temp paint. the powder coater dude has some flaked silver that actually looks polished, so instead of gettin arthritis tryin to polish the covers and uim, im just havin those coated lol

Yes, the "crinkle" is just from the cast aluminum. I just sprayed it with high temp Semi-Gloss black. Gloss is too flashy, and flat is too flat.... LOL.

i think the wrinkle look is just paint over an unsmoothed surface.

the lim is polished but it still has a light textured surface. besides after doing many lims at work, the spray pattern of the injectors barely touch anywhere in the lim, but the heads mostly. as with the heads, the intake side still has a slight texture. besides, 20psi will make it flow haha.

looks really nice, but you don't want to leave the runners too smooth. you want some roughness for an air barrier. the small turbulent air underneath the higher velocity air with allow the air to pass faster through the runners. kinda like the difference of dragging your fingers across 600 grit sandpaper and freshly cleaned glass. your fingers almost stick to the glass and not the sandpaper. a wetflow bench, from what i understand, has determined that a slight fish scale finish in the areas where there is fuel, actually will flow better.

    new pics

well i finally got around to finishing up the lower intake. after buying 6-9'' porting shanks i could squeeze in the ports and get those done. the lower intake is the hardest to port , especially cyls 3 & 4 due to the curved ports. this weekend the UIM should be gettin welded up, and then off goes the timing cover, valve covers, intake manifolds, tb, and oil pan for powdercoating!
