  • 2000 3100 rods and pistons (mild performance)

    im selling parts from a project that i turned the other way on...

    the rods are factory 5.7" rods, mildly polished and balanced for 6,000-9,000 rpm (all balanced within 1 gram of each other

    the pistons are stock weight matched...

    these are not completed yet, but i found a great deal on a set of forged pistons that came as a set with rods, so i will not need these anymore... i can sell them as a set or as just the rods and pistons...

    my original goal was to use the rods in my 22psi build im working on right now and the pistons i was just going to weight match them all and sell them because i have no use...

    let me know if anyones interested, looking to get 200 obo for the rods, 50 obo for the pistons...

    i also have hookups on h-beam 327 rods, 300 for a set of 6 that are comparative to eagle
    (eagle h beam rods are around 620 bucks for a set of 8, and only come in a set of . il also balance these and do modifications necessary to fit a 60 degree v6 for 50 dollars more a set...

    let me know

    (currently in progress of receiving a performance certificate from ferris state university on top of my automotive engineering degree, so all work is done after practicing on various junk parts and getting a good hang of what im doing... its quality work done in a full machine shop)

      Do you still have the 3100 pistons?
      Im using these for a 2.8/3400 buildup with 5.85" sbc rods.

      If you do have the 3100 pistons, would you accept $55 shipped?

      And seeing as you can get cheap sbc rods, do you think you can find a set of (preferably I-beam) 5.85" rods?

        How are your cheap rods comparable to eagle? What aspect do they compare with?
