  • which valvesprings to choose ?

Hey guys..I want to buy some vavesprings for my alu head
    gen.2 supercharged engine.

I either gonna buy the edelbrock cam or a 260 cam.

can someone tell me which springs are best(not to expensive/80$)
and where to get them ???

You can either use the springs they recommend for the cams, or find a beehive spring setup that will give you about the same pressure at the seat and at max lift. I think the LS6 springs are the most common recommendation but I am not sure if you need that much spring or not.

And LS1 spring would work fine. I would suggest that route. I don't recommend the Crane 99848 springs because I believe they cause a ticking sound at high lift.
