Yeah I'm not "built" for spray, but I'm having the cam done to like it.

I've been very successful with a 100 shot on a stock setup (dynoed 60whp) so I'm not really that worried. I'm not looking at a 150 dual stage like you possibly.

Dual stage Zex kit will arrive in the mail here soon with maximizer kit and 2 bottle openers. Plus 2 bottle bags. I'm zexerious.
I had to rebuy the maximizer kit(2nd 10lb bottle) and 2 bottle openers because they got stolen from my car.

BTW which cam did you decide to go with?

won't that kind of fog them up?

I thought about maybe getting a clear powdercoat done on mine...

^^^ Not too bad. I clear all my polished things with really good results.

I guarentee that that valvetrain cost more than my whole car.

Yeah, the valvetrain was expensive. Well everything was expensive. It's almost to the point where I just want to get it running and don't drive it. Its the feeling of phuqhing the car up that bothers me.

But i'll do more cruises with it than anything. Like a cruise to the next 60deg meet.

Powdercoating won't look as good as clear/black annodizing. The powdercoat guy I talked to said that cast products seem to trap dirt a lot more and will cause bubbles when heated. If they are sanded smooth, then it has a better chance with powdercoating.

To answer your question, I went with a custom cam, Intake lobe from the 1280 and the exhaust from the 1331

                            216/240 278/289 .517/.568 113 ICL 114 LSA

Hopefully a good monster for what I want.

Chrome is a coating, polished is actually sanding it to a mirrror finish...

Chrome PLATING still requires polishing to make it a quality finish. Sure you dont sand it, but you do have to use an abrasive compound, wheel, & spend time on the object to get it right.

I would paint black or polish it.
