  • A/C problem

Ok get this: The air conditioner works, it was just recharged etc. The compressor and everything works great... unless you turn the steering wheel. When you turn the steering wheel it turns off the compressor. Its not like if you turn it all the way either, its if you turn it a little bit, to either side, or if the tires start out crooked, to either side of that angle. Basically if the steering wheel isn't moving the air conditioning works, but once the steering wheel moves you can hear the compressor turn off, the fan and everything else keeps blowing.

My dad rewired two of the A/C wires near the bottom of the car, they were completely sheared off i dont know what caused that but he wired them well and that shouldn't be the problem. umm.. help lol.

I would say that their is a short between the Power Steering switch and the AC sensor variable line (DK blue) some where....possibly that the AC wires that were sheared off were that way for a reason.

Do you get lean or rich running conditions??? is the O2 new or original??
