UPDATE: got the 90 degree fitting and all the vac hoses are straight. nitrous is my only problem left. the machine shop guy grinded down the bung today and it looks like it might clear but the sucky-ass local speed shops here don't carry 3an fitings much less a 90 degree 3an. i am having it overnighted from summit.

TOMORROW: after i get the fitting, i will attempt to fit it if it doesn't the machine shop guy has 1 thing left to try and if it doesn't work i will simply plug the hole for now and eat the cost of that fitting and overnight charges.

Wow... you're impatient... What is that, $17 to ship a $12 fitting?

cool project. I won't need a bigger t.b. as I'm going to be boosted. I thouhgt about mounting a big a** t.b. right on the plenum, but the booster is in the way. The intake adapter adds volume to the plenum, too, which is a bonus effect.

A bigger t.b with no other changes, can cause an off idle stumble. Intake velocity will be reduced at p.t. cruise. A turbo engine doesn't need as big a t.b. b/c the intake air velocity is ALWAYS higher.

as far as i can tell mine idles fine. but i am sure alot of bottom end went south. i was thinking volume, a bigger tube and tb combined with forced induction will give plenty of velocity i would think. but u are probably right on the off idle stumble i will find out soon enough

well, i dropped it on its wheels today. all i have to do now is wait until monday and i will creep it to the shop and get the cv boot clamps put on. then i will have a road test and a run on the ole ass dyno.

also a couple peeps asked me what my car looks like so this is for u. nothing special just a 94 metallic gray z34. Interior is stock, exterior is stock, rims are stock, stereo is stock bose 6 speaker system, engine and tranny are not stock. I guess you guys can see where my priorities lie
