  • Aluminum Tubing for Fabrication

I buy a lot off of E Bay and this is a cool seller. Lots of different sized aluminum tubing, polished telescope quality. I E Mailed them and they came up with 3.5" OD X 12". (Cut to my specs) Posted it as a "Buy it now", for $8.50. 3.5" OD= close to 80mm ID. Hmmm.... what can I do with that? Just a heads up if you plan on intake mods. All 6063, T6 Al. Best welding in the field. Here is the sellers current listings. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZjmerrill37811 (I should have put this in speedstreets thread, sry)

What's the wall thickness? I thought the 0.225 I found sounded too thick til I measured the "grooved" area thickness at the top of the manifold. Even at 0.225 there will be some fill-in to do. Plus I plan to have a logo milled into that spot.

Wall thickness on what I bought was .065". I plan on using flanges for my project, which is probably different than yours. Like I said, E Mail them, they set me up fast. They have a lot of different thicknesses and diameters.
