I've just read a post that quad 4 2.3 pistons are the same size as the 3.4 dohc pistons and did some reading and found out they are the same size does anyone know will the quad pistons work in a 3.4 dohc and if they do what kind of compression ratio will the dished top piston of the quad piston give the engine?

i guess the best thing to do is to get one and measure the compresion hieght ( or look it up) and see if it actualy fits without popping out the top, or never making it there. then add in the cc's of the dish to the combustion chamber and you can figure it out there. just because it fits acros doesnt meen it wil work, i looked into the 2.0 and 2.2 pistons because they are 3.5" bore, but the compression hieght it too different. If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.

I don't have the exact numbers handy, but the bore is the same (92mm), however the compression height and pin diameter are different. This would require custom rods to make it work.
