I was told that the base fuel pressure for the 3.4 dohc is supposed to be around 40 psi. My base is right at 50 psi at idle. With the turbo running at 10 psi I have 60 psi fuel pressure. If I am correct this is enough fuel for 10 more psi of boost.
With that in mind I am leaning towards my fuel pressure regulator being bad. I have a spare regulator on the fuel rail of a 2001 Grand Prix SC2, that I nabbed the 36lb injectors off of. Does anybody know if they are interchangeable? Also waht is the base pressure for the sc2 unit?
