...To make a long story short a friend's ex left him with this '89 RS Camaro when she took off... I'd seen the car a few times back when she was daily driving it around 2003 and thought to myself that i'd like to own it one day. My buddy wasn't planning on selling the car but i let him think about it for a few months.. And Today i drove it home.

This looks like a project that will be way too much fun for mortal man... and no issues of "roominess" for aggravation if you decide later on to Turbocharge the car ala "Tiago" style. My only concern Dave, would be that the Seller is actually holding a clear title to the machine and that his "Ex" does not come back to "Vex" you over who owns the thing.

    "Welcome to the Site..."

Jesus Palomino... I choked on my Oreo Cookie and had Cold Milk spurting out of my nose from laughing when I read THAT one... LOL

it's all in the chassis setup and gearing.

I might have to re-think my rear end choice after watching those vids.

Cam only pure stock car. He's the second fastest 3800 f-body at that The real deal pulls wheelies- they are not allowed porting, but are allowed cam (stock lift) and headers but he has the cast tube manis (we have been working out a way for me to build some step headers). 2 stage rev limiter high stall, slicks, manual valve body and suspension mods almost get's his tire off the ground here's some old vids of the car...

    pre-cam...

    post-cam...

EDIT: You should see what the pure stock lt1's run

There is more to that story.. i'll let FF tell it if he wants to.

    I believe it, and i'm a skeptic.

    Yes, it was very nice...

that's the mildly cammed 327 with longtube headers, 2.25" off each collector then Y'd to 2.25" pipe crush bent then some sort of weird Y pipe at the back.

I think it gets the award for the most screwed up exhaust system i've ever seen on a car...

    *edit for measurements
