    hey everyone, I have a 84 s10 long bed with the2.8

    she was my first car, and over the 3 years ive had her ive put lots of money and time and work into her. only continuing as im building a 3.4 for it right now as money comes in. its a great truck!

    but this site is great. has lots of helpful information and makes me feel less stupid for building a 3.4 rather than dong a v-8 swap.

    glad to hear your building up a 3.4! i hope your using gen 3 heads and intake with it because it will be worth it in the end.

      no, im swaping it out for my 2.8 so its staying carbed, which is the way to go.

      im getting performance heads with bigger valves and heavier springs and keepers, ported and polished.

      the motor is going to be forged aluminum nitrous grade manley rods, forged flat top Ross pistons, big cam, already have headers duel exhaust , edelbrock intake and holly 4bbl carb that will bolt on. going to run msd, gear drive timing set, and NOS if i need a little extra. its gonna take a long time to get all that money... but its gonna be sweet
