This was the 3500 that had gone 11.1 in my camaro, so maybe it was on borrowed time.
I haven't opened it up yet, but strongly feel like its a rod bearing. damn 3500 rod bearings !!!
Was just driving it to work and it kept getting louger and louder. still ran fine, I drove it back home, but now it's REALLY loud. haha.
I bought a billet 58mm Precision for it, so, next time I'll pop in a low mile 3500 and turbo it, (non-intercooled, and likely 8 psi)

Mars I may have what you're after? I have a 44k 3500 block - needs heads up and a timing cover off yours but could be what you need? I also frequent toronto area quite a bit and seeing as you're a fellow JCO'r I'll give you a sweeeeet deal on it if you wanna meet me for it man! its literally collecting dust in my garage. I used the top end for my 3400 cav - same username on the other board too btw. I'd be willing to tour out one night to say barrie area to meet you or if you're up to it - come to a tues meet in sauga.Comment
