16x7's I'd agree, 235/55/16, that's about the limit in width.

I had on my old car 235-55-16's and they where MUCH better then stock. wider and firmer side walls. Plus they are close to stock diameter and as cheap as the stockers. I had some ghetto "Master Craft" tires but i was very happy with them and they hook much better then stock..

i have HTR-Z's on the belair. just a tad less $ than the kumho 711's but nowhere near as sticky. i had 711's on the caddy and could throw it through many a hairy curve and stick.

douglas is a wal-mart POS brand, i have some tires from them that the previous owner (my mom) put on the car... ive been able to lose the rear more than a few times and the front end will lose traction with the slightest bit of power applied when the roads are wet

they did decently on the snow but 60% of the time it was most of a controlled slide, the tires were put on about 2 years ago at the most and have prolly less than 25k miles on them and look worn and with not to much tread depth remaining, i would guess i can get another 10k at the most out of them before i have even worse wet traction issues

Seeing that i worked for belle tire A while back I would say go with a 245-50-16 they will fit under all corners, and for tires i would go with Goodyear RSA or GoodYear Tripple Tread, Both will be some cash. but if u want to go the cheaper route there is a brand Called DOUGLASS u could get four performance style 245/50/16
    for about 425 bucks

Get something that is stock diameter so you dont have to mess with the speedo and your car still feels the same. Also if you switch back and forth in the winter and summer you wont have to worry about speedo changes.

Run a 225 or 235 tire. 225 should fit under all corners. I run a 255 on my truck which is lowered 4 inches
