Deception and its heavy price

That's why when I was single, I always dated single moms. There is a slim to none chance that a girl with a 1 or 2 yr old and lives alone is under 18.

I don't think the parents can press charges since the crime wasn't commited against them. Regardless the daughter certainly did but the guys involved are not completely innocent. They still had sex with a minor which is against the law. Yeah she lied to them, but at the same time she didn't force them into it. Both parties are guilty here, but thanks to our wonderful justice system, it's only the guys that have to do time.

Parents can press charges, it's called statutory rape, and no she didn't force them into it she tricked them into it. Ignorance of the law being no excuse for abstinance of the law is not the case here.

Say for example you drink and the same girl walked up to you and asked if she could have a beer. She looks of age and tells you she is or better yet as has happened before, shows you a fake I.D. and you give her one. Her parents find out and press charges despite the kids lies and you go to jail. How much of that is your fault?

How many times have you personally asked someone for their I.D. before having sex with them as proof of age? further more, even if she had shown them a fake I.D. they still would have gone to jail. How many of us have access to the proper equipment verify an authentic I.D.

They played to close to the edge yes, but for what they are going to suffer for many years to come as a result of her actions is un called for. There's a difference between a bad check writer and a person who writes a check unaware that someone has taken money out of the account before hand rendering it unable to cover the amount being written out.

This kind of madness can snare anyone of us over all sorts of mischief not just getting involved unaware with an under age person. I don't want to go to jail because I made a mistake as a result of someones deliberate lie. It can happen to any of us.

No the crime wasn't against them, but it is the parents decision weather or not the sex was consentual. If the parent's didn't press charges, there was no crime. Here in Florida, parents can give thier children marital privlages, and emancipate them at 16 even.

Precisely my point, one of the guys was busted because he went to the father and addressed him regarding the matter and apparently was turned in. There is not indication the parents have put forth any effort to put a stop to it.

Keep in mind these guys are not old at all and not far removed from being teenagers themselves so young looking is more common normal to them than say someone closer to 30. It really isn't that easy to give a rough estimate on age regarding this range. The steroids in our meat products is making what would have been a little girl look like a woman at a very young age.

Kids on average are probably bigger now than many of us were at the same age.

Well I am 30, and I promise you, if I went to buy a case of beer at Meijer right now, I would get carded. Ask Ben, Brad, Josh, Lorenzo, Taylor, Franz or anyone else on the board that has met me and seen me in person. When I worked in the factories, people thought I was fresh out of high school and have even been told I could go work for the school systems as a narc in high school still. Heck, last fall I got carded for cough medicine... That doesn't mean I go and try to find underaged chicks to screw because I look like a high schooler. I've got more sense then that.

I find it hard to believe that you can pass off a 13 year old girl as over 18. Yeah I know that kids in high school today look nothing like when I was in school. But it's still hard to cover up that much of an age gap. I also think the guys involved were only looking for a quick fuck and did bother to check to hard on her age. Obviously he had his doubts or he wouldn't of asked about her age.

Wow... Just.. wow! Those parents are the most irresponsible excuse for parents I have heard of. Those men should be pardoned, get a settlement from her parents, have the parents pay ALL court costs and lost time on the job, and the girl should be put in jail for the first month of her summer vacation so she can see what she is doing to innocent men by way of her lying and deception. Then when she gets out, put her on an ankle bracelet for a few years to keep her in doors after curfew like she should be! No man with a right mind would have sex with a 13 year old girl, unless he has been lied to like those two have.

That's insane, first because she continues to lie and entrap individuals resulting in their being sent to jail and second because the courts know she's doing it and have done nothing to stop what amounts to entrapment. It's basically taking advantage of an opportunity to throw people in jail and take credit for an unjust application of the law.

If her father is so supportive of the laws that protect teenagers from poor decision making and the judgements hashed out to these guys for their lapse in judgement, perhaps the same laws should be applied to him for failing to correct the situation in his home that is permitting it through apparent inaction aside from allowing people to fall victim to this childs trap and letting the law do his job.

The family is well aware of what she is doing and there is no mention of any effort on their part to stop it. I bet this kid looks every bit a grown women in real life despite the youthfulness that picture shows.

I saw a picture of a 12 yo that looked like a grown woman, the only thing that lead to my discovering she was a child was questioning about what she was doing on an exam table in a pediatric clinic. She was dressed to deceive, high heels, makeup you name it.

She's also putting herself in danger which is another reason they should be holding the parents accountable.

Genuine ignorance is one thing, but being deceived does not count as ignorance, these guys know the law in this regard, that's why she posted an adult age to begin with.
