Re: offical H2 hate site! LOL.
Oh never mind the increase in Gross Domestic Product or the payroll of the people that assembled the car, made the steel, installed the glass, made the tires. All of those increase revenue of companies inside and outside our borders. And increase peoples wages, which also increases tax revenues(Not to mention how much more gas they buy which increases tax revenues). And then there are the people that get hired to maintain and detail the vehicle and the supplies they use every week to make it look pristine. Fucking morons have no clue how the economy works.Originally posted by v6h.o.http://www.fuh2.com/
i like this part that he rants about:
Originally posted by FUH2The H2 is a tax loophole. Under Bush's new tax plan, business owners can deduct the entire cost of their $55,000 H2. If you are in the highest tax bracket, that's a tax savings of nearly $20,000! The government rewards you more savings for buying an H2 than you'd get for buying an electric car.

Saving our precious fossil fuels, eh? How about this recent data I've come across. At current consumption levels the world will be dry of it's recoverable oil reseves in approximatily 45 years. Sorta makes me want to avoid any job related to the industry. I think I will start saving up for the geothermal heat and solar power.

I think it's less than that, if the EPA never lets us drill up in Alaska, then you can expect like 25-30 years. I think the LAST thing we want are "status" trucks getting 13mpg max.Brian

the thing they forget to mention is its tax money they already paid. Its their own money they're getting back...
They already tax you if you don't have a business, and you get a break if you declare it a business expense. You think that not only should you not get a tax break for doing business, but you should pay even more taxes on it too?there should be a "truck tax" if you arent using it for a business.

You know business don't pay taxes. It's and expense and it just drives up the cost of the prodcut to the consumer. So in the end the consumer pays, not the business.Originally posted by kanchouthe thing they forget to mention is its tax money they already paid. Its their own money they're getting back...

Hmm Funny. I was talking to the owner of a Dodge 1500 with a Hemi in it at the gas station. He said to me he can only muster 10MPG out of his truck.
It didn't suprise me in the least seeing as dodge has NEVER been able to get any economy out of their engines.
Also according to many of the popular magazines the H2 is a extremly capable off road vehicle. Maybe when GM shoves the Duramax in the H2 people will shut up.
Oh and just so everyone knows the Ferrari Enzo which weighs 3230lbs can only muster 12mpg. And thats when you not even having fun in it. Try opening her up a little and see what you get.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
