So I was thinking, the minivan version of the Chevy Lumina was called a Lumina APV. Now since the Grand Prix was the Pontiac equivalent to the Chevy Lumina, I think that it is only fair that instead of calling the Pontiac a TransPort that it should be called a Grand Prix APV. Now I realize every GP owner is now going to hate me, but you all have to agree, the fact that the Lumina was also a minivan gives it a bad name.

I think GPAPV is too many letters. It's not a bad idea, but really... how much an all purpose vehicle were those minivans? The lumina van should just change its name, L(imitied)PV may work for example.

Well I'm probably the only one here that drives a Lumina APV as their main vehicle
it sucks. Whats even worse than the fact that its got a HUGE from end and is just plain ugly, is that it has an indestructable iron-head TBI 3.1L engine. Damnit if only I could kill it I wouldn't have to drive it

Lumina van did have its name changed... it's now the Venture. I think it ought to be a different name, since technically it's not the same platform.Comment

i like my APV so much that i have 2 of them.
hell i even got 16" Z34 wheels for the silver one(14's piss me off cause they roll in turns). i took all the seats out and threw out the back carpet and its a badass work van for when i don't need my truck.Comment
