I had the screen go on in my 1996 Grand Prix (basic AM/FM cassette without the EQ).
I just put a new bulb in it. It shocked the shit out of me how it was done. I was expecting it to be like the Cutlass Supreme radio, but it wasn't.
If your radio originally had a RED display, the most likely, you can just stick a new bulb in it.
If you take it apart, then old bulb just twists out. I had to solder a new bulb to the holder, but other than that, it was a 5 minute fix.
If I get around to it, sometime tomorrow, I will take some pics of the bulb to show everyone.Taylor
