What sparkplugs (Brand/Pn/Gap) were you running on your old setup?

Never got back to the track after the installation. I was fooling around and hit the rev-limiter and BOOM, detonation that sounded like a cannon going off. Sad thing is, I had a MegaSquirt for tuning, but was using a stock ECM and tuning with fuel pressure. I since sold the MS help pay for the new motor, and won't be putting a turbo on this one until I have the MS installed .

I have been around 3rd Gens all my life, ever since I rode in a brand-new 87 IROC, in '87 , I fell in love with them. I can say it would have smoked a 305 f-bod, and probably be close to a 350. It just didn't have the dig like a SBC would, but after a few feet, it took off, and spinning tire if I weren't careful (no LSD then, but will soon).

nice but get rid of those home depot couplers at the intercooler. Those are not made for pressure and are not reinforced. THey are made for connecting sewage pipes

Slow going right now. My wife had to have a kidney removed due to cancer, but she's doing good (all gone ). Until she goes back to work, money is tight. I finally got paid from a side job I did a few mos ago, and will be ordering the gasket kit in the next few days, and will get to start porting. Also have enough $$ to do the ls6 spring swap.

I'll be working extra hours at the CNC shop, so I don't know how much will get done on the actual car, but I will have a chance to make all the custom stuff I need to get this thing running .
