So, we have more drama with these pistons I bought from Diamond. We were putting togeter the rotating assembly for my 2003 3100 motor and discovered that the top piston rings are too big for the slot they made for them. I'm not sure if the pistons were made wrong, or if they sent me the wrong piston rings. The oil ring and middle ring went in without an issue, but the top slot is the same size as the second one .0045. The ring is .0056. Is the ring size wrong, or did they make the pistons wrong. If they are different sizes, which one goes on the top and which one goes below that? Either way, I'm SUPER PISSED! Any thougts? I am running a turbo with about 13 pounds of boost...if that changes things.

Might want to call the people who made you the pistons... We can't answer that question. If it was a package deal they messed up on the ring size or the pistons size and only they can tell you that.
