I am heading back to school soon and I have decided to put my project motor plans on hold until I graduate next year, so I have no need for my spare 3500 Top End.
What I am selling:
2 3500 Heads complete with valve and springs
3500 Lower intake manifold
3500 Plenum (Upper intake manifold)
3500 Map Sensor and Pigtail (needed as the previous 3400/3100 use a different sensor and connector)
3500 UIM & LIM gasket set (new in GM package)
The top end is off of a 06 Torrent with low miles, everything is in like new condition and is ready to bolt on to another engine.
Price: $460 + shipping
The 3500 heads flow as well if not better than most ported 3400 heads. On average the 3500 heads flow 5.8% more on the exhaust side and 10.78% more on the intake side as compared to stock 3400 heads. (Lifts from .050” to .500”)
I have had a 3500 top end installed on my 01 Grand Am since late March, and have been nothing but happy. The car has more power through out the whole range, and there is a hint of torque steer now from the added power.
The 3500 setup is the best bang for the buck when adding performance to your car. Most places will charge at minimum $750 for set of heads and $300 for ported manifolds + Core charges, that flow the same if not less.
If you are interested PM me or E-mail me at Pglassley@indstate.edu
I can also provide anyone with an 98+ 3100 & 3400 a Bin file that will work great with this setup.
