So who wants to go over data logging basics with me real quick?

lol Believe it or not, i'm of the very same mind set. But John refuses to let me compromise on aesthetics.

Yeah unfortunately when I get the ECM's, they don't always have the mounting nuts on them

I try to make things look like they belong there

    no nuts?? .... cheapskate

    lol j/k

Thats awesome news though about the bracket. You can hardly tell the pcm has been changed out.

Max, if you take the plastic bracket off your current PCM, the Lumina ECM will slide right in it, and you mount it just like you would your stock PCM ...

Her's one loosely bolted in place...

The Lumina just mounts to the sides instead. I'm not sure if I have the nuts on the ECM I'm sending you, but you can find them at any hardware store.

Any ideas guys on how i'm gonna mount the lumina pcm in my firebird??

IIRC it's a square metal box right? i don't want that thing sliding around. Maybe i should use bondo....

    lol any thoughts?

Bob: I'm right there with you. My hopes are that if a sensor IS bad and not being picked up by the actron scanner than maybe it will be obvious through data logging that a sensor is not up to snuff.

the less sensors used, the less that can go bad so i like it.

Technically your right Bob, and I have no idea if it is the camshaft alone and not a sensor or two gone haywire causing the vehicle to stall out and idle irradically. But like robert mentioned before, we can assume that once a radical cam is installed there will be radical results. Remember, my car ran FINE before the cam install and has developed driveability issues directly after the new radical cam was installed.

I think you should just wait and see how much tuning will help out

Forced: Harness looks great imo, what is that black wrap around the wiring?
I'll be patient... I promise... But as Isaac Said ... The "Neo" Sensor (The One...The Triple X Sensor...or 7X) in this case is the very "1" I would be very curious to know will be rock-solid when John's Goody Box and contents arrive in Buffalo...and you install all that cool 'Lectronic Cabling and the Lumina ECM/PCM have found a home under the FB's Hood. It should be okay..........But..............
