  • stock 3.4 auto idles at 1000rpm. Kinda high IMO for a 109 LSA cam (stock).

Brought the idle to 800 and the stock cam loped nice (specially when I threw a little extra fuel in ROFL).

i can't imagine what this cam would do if i could lower the idle rpms without it stalling.... muwahah.... can we do it?

            • Well, you know the situation max One of the connectors I gad won't hold the pin correctly and can push out when inserting it to the ECM. I had one the same way when I did Pauls car, but bought 2 sets of 7727 connectors when I did his and then another. Same pin on the orange connector won't stay, so I ordered 2 more (just in case).

              • I know, I'm just more anxious than ever to take a look at some data logs and try to get my car running right. This stuff is kinda fun. Then again, I do have all winter to get my tune right so there's really no rush i guess.

                • even though you can't tune it, you can log with the 1.5 ECM in there...

                      • ADS is done, i'll post it here, and send it to Mark for TP...

EDIT: something interesting: according to the DS for it, the 24X sensor is completely ignored above ~2000RPM...

Uh, yeah. The 24x signal is only for low-rpm resolution to basically help make the idle smoother.

                            • thanks for the .ads robert.

I also didnt' want to datalog until i get the new pcm in because i was going to start data logging with the tune (as small as it is) that i've been working on. It's such a rough idle (and super rich), i hate to start it and keep it running for long if i can help it.

So i figured i'd wait til i got the new pcm and new tune on it before i datalogged.

                              Any opposition or thougths?

                              • i just put it up in case you should want/need it, and i know other people out there will use it as well.

i really don't want to count the number of ADS/ADX that mark has put on the TP downloads page that were made by me....
