• Learning about OBD II tuning

Does anybody know of a site for a complete noob with info on OBD II tuning. I would like to learn how to do it but I can tell from reading through the forum it's pretty involved. I know absolutely nothing so I am looking for something that starts with the very basics. Thanks

Unfortunately this is the catch with OBDII tuning. There is no free guide available for learning the basics.

No "free" guide? Is there something I can buy?

I was actually referring to Andy, hence the reason I quoted him.

The best place to start is with the VE tuning. the HPTuners software has a good "how to" section on the basics of tuning. I could Print Screen it for you if you like.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

Whoops! I did mention something about that. I'll have to get back on it.

Thanks for the link. There's some good info there.

So what do I need to get started? Can I buy cables and do it with my laptop or do I need to get a tuner?
