stand alone, what to go with

he is talkign about a gen 2 motor crank position sensor that the gen 1 doesnt have.

i beleive the stock sensor hooks right to the coil plate and doesnt go to the ecm at all. i know people here are running stand alone with gen 2/3 motors, so i know it works somehow.

This is how MS and GM DIS works together. It will hook up the same as my distributer setup.
