 It's all aluminum externally so it certainly shouldn't be heavier than a 3.4 DOHC. I don't remember which thread but I do recall posting the weight. You have to decide what to do about the VVT which is a bit more complicated than the cam in block VVT motors though I'm sure you could find a way to fix them into an optimal position. Depends on what your plans are. All of the manual flywheels for it are dual mass I believe and your sources are likely the Saab 2.8L DOHC motors and the Cadillac CTS, in which case you would also have to use a Saab manual trans as a result or have a custom flywheel made.

 1963 Studebaker Avanti: C4 Corvette narrowed front/rear suspension, C5 13" calipers/rotors adapted to C4, Viper differential with Intrax 3.54 ratio (the snake has been charmed!), coil overs, stainless tubular frame, stainless chambered side exhaust.
