Well we got this thing started this morning at about 4AM lol. Took a vid with my phone but it didn't save. Oh well.

Engine bay is kinda a mess right now and we still have to build charge piping but the hard part is over! Fired up first try!

    Fuel lines

All RWD setups with serpentine belts. So 86 or 87 and later have reverse rotation pumps. 2.8L's have long nose pumps for mechanical fans. 3.1L and 3.4L Camaro's have short nose pumps because they had E-Fans.

Ya I think all 3.4s have CCW rotating pumps

The pump is from a Fiero. They all have CW Rotating pumps

It's a CW rotating pump we just don't have a 6-rib pulley for it yet. Threw the 3.1 WP pulley on for now.

Had a 5-rib pulley on it originally

Your driving a smooth pulley with the ribbed side of the belt? That doesn't make sense to me, and dave is right the WP will not be spinning in the right direction.

Smooth pulley, Accessory rotates counter-clockwise, Ribbed pulley Accessory rotates clockwise with the crank.

All accessory mounts have more-or-less been finalized. SC mount was re-done, and PS pump bracket is now completely custom to allow the alternator to swing down a little more.

    Tensioner

    PS Pump

    SC Mount

    Measuring belt length

    Coil mount

    Wiring more-or-less finished

    Accessories all figured out!

    Motor installed permanently

Didn't bother finishing it up because one of the fuel fittings didn't arrive in time. It really just needs to be put together and intake piping finished.

Ya that belt isn't the one we're actually using. Just something to help us align the pulleys. The tensioner should place the pulley as close to the crank pulley as possible which should wrap the charger nicely.

maybe an idler and a tensioner, to get more belt wrap on that charger.

Unfortunately didn't get much done on Wednesday, but got the sc mount mostly finished and worked on other accessory mounts as well. Wiring is mostly finished.

    Frame notch boxed in

    Wiring progress

Still have to add in a tensioner but mostly finshed
