  • Fieros go here...

Are you looking to upgrade the brake system in your car? I am making adaptors to allow you to use 11.25" rotors from a LeBaron and calipers from a Cadillac.

They work for up to '87 models...

Parts list and installation instructions coming soon as my bud gets them finished up

$130 shipped to the US, made from 1018 3/8" thick mild steel, CNC machined.

I didn't come up with it, just machining the adapters

I actually made them for a member of another board, and decided to finish out the entire bar of stock. Took a little while to catch on, but three of the next five are already called for, and thought maybe some guys here might not have seen them

          [Quote]rotors from a lebaron, and calipers from a caddy?[Quote]

It's a common upgrade......one of my sons Fieros has this upgrade on his car, makes a world of difference in the cars braking ability. John could you give me an idea of what the ship fee either UPS ground or USPS 1st class parcel to the Toronto area (L1J 1X2) would be, we've a second Fiero that would benefit from the revised supports. I'll speak to him and see if he is in the market to get into this shortly, thx,

I just sold set to someone in CAN as a matter of fact, and was $15 more for shipping.

You want a set, Steve? The material will be in the shop tomorrow, hoping to at least get them cut up tomorrow night.

John......Finally got an answer from *the boy*.....he doesn't want to get involved with the brakes right now on his one Fiero that is still all OEM....but he was asking if these can be run off at anytime in the future?

Steve, all depends on supply and demand

I will keep making them as long as they are being made groups of 5 to keep the cost down. It takes me just as long to setup the machines to make one as it does many, so that time has to be accounted for. I need to sell 2 of the 5 just to recover material and tooling costs, so it's not like they are a big profit item, I just enjoy making parts for the community

Why would you want to cut of any of the tabs on the pads?....these brackets allow the use of Cadillac Deville/S10 rotors and pads on the Chrysler vented rotors at all four corners which is far superior to the smaller Fiero hardware.

Stop with the distractions and finish that turbo bird.

You should also go to the Fiero forum on this subject and look into the brackets for the corvette brake swap. I believe that is becoming the most popular and may be more productive for you. I plan on that swap once I finish what I've already started. I'm also going to check with the shop that laser cut my 7x rings to see what they can offer.

I plan on upgrading my wheels next year and don't want to have tiny rotors behind 17-18" wheels.
