Quit polishing things and get back to building engines! hehe Don't forget to polish the underside.

How many engine builds are you working on now?

          Wasn't my choice

          3 3.4/3500's (including mine)
          1 3.1/3100 hybrid

Actually one 3.4 is a kit made up of the same parts I used on mine, for someone in Canada

No. Got another 3500 in yesterday, and spent the afternoon getting the last block off the stand (only have 3 stands), the new one on it, then cleaning up the messes.

The 3500 I got from All-Pro was still FULL of oil. I didn't think to check because it's not supposed to be shipped with fluids, but when I turned it up side down on the stand - it was obvious, lol, but by that time there was several quarts already on the floor.

Where'd he get those allen-head plenum bolts? They look real good on that polished 3500 UIM.

Ace hardware has em. Probably any hardware store. Stainless steel would look better though, which they have.

Lowe's is the only other place I can find a good selection of metric hardware.

Get all the stand-to-motor bolts there.

EDIT: Unless you have a real fastner store nearby. Locally we have a plcae called "Broward Bolt". They literally have 20k square feet of inventory, including SS and chromed steel - all in various hardness. In fact, I go there to buy weld in o2 bungs. They are 18mmx1.50 nuts, then I slice them vertically to get two bungs pre nut. They charge $3.00 for four nuts. they also carry headbolts etc
