it sounds like a injector problem. either cloged or stuck open. i had a few stuck open. and one clogged and it had the SAME problems as yours.

That sounds like a fuel problem. Have you changed the fuel filter recently? Or tested for fuel pressure? Could be a weak fuel pump/injectors as well. Change your FF if you haven't recently, test your fuel pressure and we can go from there. GL.

Power loss when starting out?
Ok i have a 1996 Grand Prix w. the 3100 in it. When starting out on an incline it has no power it will just sit there and lose power shake and well...not move unless you really stomp on it. its not just steap inclines either. the check engine code says i need a throttle body sensor (witch i have replaced already and the problem still exists and the light is still on) also when you first start the car it does not have a steady idle it will bounce between 1 and .5 for about 30 seconds....any suggestions would help thanksTags: None
