There really is not stock VSS. My old set up (stock) was a 2.8 carbed chevy engine, with an AX5 tranny, and NP207 transfer case. My new set up is a 3.4 fuel injected camaro engine and the old tranny and transfer case. The new engine want a VSS to run correctly. Well, my speedometer is driven by a cable that runs into the transfer case....I need to make that signal electronic, to make the engine run correctly.
