going to transplant a 3.1 or 3.4 into a rambler wagon but need to know if these v6 motors will fit. I need the width and length of them

oh, it should fit length and width wise. not sure how tall the hood is on a rambler though.

    and welcome to the site.

      hood clearence

Thanks and I am sure it will fit as far as height but the width and length well not much room in there. I know that a chev inline wont fit but just want to make sure before buying a v6.

What exact measurements do you need? I have a RWD 3.4 sitting on a engine stand right now that I can pull measurements for. Its got TBI on it but I don't think a carb is any bigger.

One Geezzz your gona have more room than you'll know what to do with...
I dropped a 305gm v8 in my wifes 63 rambler, it's a tad bigger between the wheel wells but not by much....!
                and my 3.4 iron head sizes up +/- 1": Width 23" x long 24" x tall 24"
width includes exhaust manifolds, long with out fan, tall using s10 oil pan to top of valve covers/bottom manifold...
                hope this helps...
