"3X Ref High" wire?

Hey everybody

I'm having a bit of trouble with my Alero (2000)

It's been missing a lot and going nuts at times, other times it's fine and runs smooth

I replaced the ICM yesterday and while I was doing that, I noticed a wire connector on the purple/white wire. My car used to have remote start but it's been disconnected for years.

I know there was another attempt to fix the remote start and this was done inside the car, under the door sill panel.

I'm wondering if this wire is loose. This was repaired about 10 years ago after the dealership took out the remote start that the alarm guy put in. or the other wire is grounding out.

It happens a lot when I hit a bump, makes me think it's a loose wire

remote start that taps into the crank sensor wiring? that wiring should be twisted at a minimum of 9 times per foot. if it isn't already, do so and this issue may go away.
