    Is Larsen visiting us again?!?

One of the things I am wondering is if the oil pan is compatible with the older blocks. If I could mount that oil pan to my current engine, it would make designing headers a little more interesting.

A diesel still has a TB, just not spark plugs. The fuel ignites when it is sprayed in the compressed air. That would mean that they all need a TB.

One of the box trucks I took to San Francisco had a jerked over Chevy 350. Jerked over as in jerked over to diesel, and it had no butterfly, just a huge gaping hole (about 6"x6") into the intake right under the air filter.

Some have a cannister of ether onboard that automatically gets injected to help cold starts too.
