  • 94 camaro. oops..

Long story short. I had a bad injector and went to replace with stock 5.0 mustang injectors (19lb).. Bought new o rings and the little caps that go on the end. Started putting them in the motor fist (thinking we could just get them in the fuel rail after they were in the motor (clearance is a serious issue on this car) well that didn't work. so went to take them out and go a new route but when we pulled them out. two of the caps popped off and went down in the motor.....awesome right? So I guess my question is how is the best way to go about getting them out. I'm guessing pulling the lower intake (which from what I've read... is not fun) Anybody have some advice?

Believe it or not. We got one of them out with a shop vac. lol now we just need to convince the other one to come out.

Lot's of air forced into the injector port where it's at and that shop vac in the air intake port. It'll whirl it's plastic self on out of there.

Thanks for the idea. I haven't thought about shooting and having the vac on it at the same time. I'll definitely try that out tomorrow. I'm ready to actually get to enjoy this car. It ran so bad before this that it wasn't even fun to drive.
