I found a lower intake with fuel rail, injectors, and harness on eBay for $45 shipped. I bought it for my 3.4/3400/3500 hybrid build. Did I get the wrong Lower intake? Did I buy the LZ4 when I actually need the LX9? I'm reading that the coolant passage is way different. So am I S.O.L or do I just need to make sure I get the matching heads?

Did I get the wrong 3500 LIM?

Here's a quote I pulled from another page " The LX9 heads and intakes are a great fit on the 3.4L and 3400 engines. They will not fit the 2.8L, 3.1L or 3100 engines due to the valves hitting the cylinder walls.
The LZ4, LZ9 and LZE heads have larger valves and large LS style ports. But they will not fit earlier engines due to valve to cylinder wall interference. Even if they did fit, you would need to deal with the coolant return system as all the LZ engines use U-flow coolant return system where the coolant exits through the front end of the heads instead of the LIM.
We are converting a couple of LZ9s for RWD use at this time but it is expensive due to the need to remove the VVT and address the coolant system. We are working on some alternatives to make the LZs a more friendly and cost effective swap. Although there is no hard evidence, we believe the short block is capable of handling more than 500hp. Only time and money will tell."
The U-flow is what I'm concerned with.
