Its got either 3100 or 3400 motor cant remember right now. i just brought it home and noticed a howl on the front passenger side wheel i think? its pretty loud when u get the car past 40. Any ideas? the car was only 1500 bucks so i bought it with 125.000 miles. Besides this, i noticed nothing else wrong with the car, i just hope its not the trans, all the gears work... thanks guys

Wow, that's cheap!
It's a wheel bearing. The tend to go in the newer W bodies a lot. Not that hard to replace.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] New 2010 project (click image)

thanks a lot, i was praying it was something easy. didnt know wheel bearings howl , good to know! This is the newest car ive ever had , the bodys nice, rims, and its a 60 degree! Check engines on but runs good, scanner says O2 sensor...i didnt find out what one tho... Fix this wheel bearing, do a tune up and erase the codes then if its still on, ill change the o2. Does that sounds like the right approach?

Yup. Find out which O2 first. You'll need a large socket for the axle nut. I recommend reading a chiltons/hanes repair book so you have an idea of what to expect.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] New 2010 project (click image)
