I bought a 88 Beretta GT ( 2.8 ) recently that had a Code 13 (Oxygen sensor circuit) but fuel economy was not affected much, as far as I could tell.Originally posted by geldartb View Postwhen my o2 went out in the beretta

well it sits there for a couple of days and when i get back he shows me a paper of stuff he supposedly fixed. one thing was the o2 prob took it from an old car cause it went out 2 months later.
this is when i was getting a 100 miles to a tank. so i take it out and its an old crusty original ac delco.
ANd being that this car is a 95 obd 1.5 it has no maf sensor. once i replaced to o2 everything was fine.sigpic

If yours does not have a MAF sensor, then only the default map was being used...on my 82/86 SBCs with Carbs, when the computer turns off...its 10 mpg...you can just about watch that fuel needle move, while it consumes about 20+ gallons of fuel.
