It would be a much more productive and helpful response from you to post the publications you yourself own instead and would endorse as alternatives to this very basic...but 60* specific engine... re-building tome. I'm sure that rather than read just the negative comments you have rendered, the more advanced portion of our membership would like to benefit from your negative insight and critique on the subject. For something as exotic as many of the engines and mods that require deeper knowledge and other sources of information, I would agree with you...but the clue about what it is meant to do is hidden in the title: It says what it does. Nothing more... Nothing less. This book might just have been written for the many people who have never, ever even backed a bolt out of an engine head who might decide to re-build some of the earlier, hard bitten, hard driven engines that have accumulated too many miles...and to them, this "basic book" would be very helpful.
Besides that, since you hold this publication in such low regard, why not offer yours up for sale here on the forum? There MUST be a market for the book out there somewhere... or the original owners of it would not be asking (and getting) so much money for them all the time. If you don't like the one you own...do yourself and another one of us some good and get rid of it... perhaps to one of the many people I have interacted with in here who have read many, very helpful excerpts from it when they needed help and then commented universally:
"Where can I get that book?!!"
Don't forget to post a list of your reference library...
