    If your lighter doesn't work then your diagnostics port won't work. Check your fuses. I don't recall having a code for bad crank sensor...unless its for the one behind the harmonic balancer. What specific code was it? What kind of scanner are you using?

    ICM is the module that the coil packs mount to. The wire goes between that module and the crank sensor (CPS) that you replaced.

    Could be the ICM or the wiring from the CPS to the ICM.

    i replace the pita one lol i didnt know there were 2 of them
    but it will crank over and i had the coil pack tested and its good but still no spark

    Which crank sensor did you replace? On a 3100, there are 2 - 1 behind the pulley and the other on the back side of the engine. The one on the back (which is a PITA to change) is the one that sends the signal to the ICM and therefore controls spark.

    1994 olds achieva no spark

    i have a 1994 oldmobile achieva and i have no spark i hooked up a scan tool to it and it said the crank sensor was bad! I relaced that and still nothing now i cant get a reading with any scan tool an dstill no spar what should i do???
