Power Steering Pulley so what do you guys think?

    Drove the hell outta the car today. Power steering is working fine. I didn't hear the pulley squeaking so much. Actually I haven't heard it in a while. It still makes a buzzing sound. I will make plans to replace the pump later. After rebuilding the motor my pockets need some R&R.

      you can rent the puller for those pulleys, it's free with about a $30 deposit.

        I think the place round me that have one is Autozone (shivers as I speak their name). I truly avoid that place unless I seriously need to go there. Can't seem to find a factory pulley number though.

              Thanks for the numbers. I saw the Doorman's (the plastic one) and I saw the reviews about people saying they broke or fell apart. Ever heard about that?

                I've never had any issues. Must go on evenly and any debris needs to be removed from shaft surface.

                  My friend bought a Dorman PS pulley brand new for his LS1 and it cracked on install using a proper install tool.
                  '89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11
                  '86 Fiero, 3500, 4-speed

                    I'd just get the metal one. I had one but sold it a while back, they're neat.
