Nope it's the only other bolt visible in the first picture. That holds down that slightly V-shaped bracket that holds the oil pump drive in place (aluminum circular thing on top of oil pump drive is visible clearly in first picture). Once you remove the bolt and the hold-down V-shaped bracket, you will probably have to use a screwdriver or pry bar to pry the oil pump drive up and out of the hole. Then the o-ring will be clearly visible.Originally posted by hal.lyman View Post

Is my #1 the number one in the diagram?
The bolt that you circled doesn't appear to be a major (if at all) oil leak, just based on the fact that nothing has really run down from that location.'89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11

I'd bet money it's for the TPS connector. I have seen that one many times.Originally posted by caffeine View PostLooks like it could be a weather-proof rubber piece from a wiring connector.
Can't remember for sure on the gasket. Swear that they are that short even new.
Thought you could also use the small block Chevy distributor gasket to help seal it where it touches the block. Or is that just for the 3100/3400? I was thinking the 60 degree drives are the same.Last edited by Purple pit; 10-23-2014, 01:51 PM.95 Beretta 3100 with 3400 intakes and TCE TB
