  • 3100 headers

Yes, I tried the search function, and it wouldn't work , it just gives me a blank page. so quick down and dirty.
At Clubgp, ssheaders.com is listed for 3400 headers which will work with a 3100, do they bolt right up or do I need to modify anything before using them?
I'm planning out a new exhuast system for the car, to get done come spring.
Thank you very much for your help.

2.8, 3.1. 3100, 3400 and 3500 all use the same bolt pattern. they'll bolt up fine

I thought the 3500 exhaust ports were offset a bit differently than the 3400's?

What car are these going into? Just because they will bolt to the engine doesn't mean they will fit in the engine bay...

            Header question

Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone being able to bolt these onto a 3.1 Gen II in a J-Body (and I can't tell what your application is based on your profile), so I am having a buddy who is a welder do a custom set for me. If they turn out well, he plans to be able to make additional sets. I'll keep everyone informed.

The ports are slightly different, but the mounting is the same. the 3400 gaskets fit the 3500 ports almost perfect. No overlap.

i have a set in the garage right now with 3400 gaskets and 3400 D port flanges bolted to them.

Yah, his won't fit into a Jbody w/o mods. Usually the front one fits fine, it's the rear one that causes problems. It's usually easier just to make your own (as i have going on 3 times now) for the J's.

Blackbombshell is correct, I have a 94 Grand Prix.

does anybody know off the top of their head what the performance headers will cost?

custom headers..... this is going to be a real PITA - everything under the hood of the Corsica is tight!
