well..volkswagen has been doing this for 15 years or so.
    it's nothing new......
it also helps the oil warm up faster.

I just saw an aeroquip that Driver_10 is using on his 3400 RWD Camaro. It uses coolant to control the oil temp, so the oil is always the same temp as the coolant. Pretty slick and it wasn't very expensive. You just need to re-route your radiator hoses to it.

that radiator is about 18-19 inches long and 9 inches wide
    thickness is aprox. 1 inch.

in my opinion that's not so small.
I've seen people using oilcoolers that were a lot smaller..
and those aren't near as efficient as the watercoolers

my oilhose has a 3/4 inch diameter so that should work well with
that radiator and pump, the large ID will keep the pressure a bit down.

trick is to get it so its not pumping so fast that theres no cooling effect taking place with that radiator though...

the radiator from the kawa has the fan on it.
I payed only 25$ incl.shipping for that one LOL

I am not sure wether I wouldn't need a reservoir/tank for the coolant.
I think that depends on the type of pump.
If I'd have the chance ..I would do it without a tank.

bought me some 3/4 ID oilhose for the lines.
that set me back about 55$ but this is way better than gardenhose.

now I only have to receive the pump, that one was about 50$incl.shipping.

and I need to get some 90 degree elbows for the couplers..

so in all I have a decent IC system for about 245$.

with the added plumbing to a cooler in the front atleast you wont need to run a res. tank for the IC but i would still add a fan and maybe even a co2 spray bar or something more closely mounted to the IC might be a good idea for track days

Those injectors should work well, i'm at about 75% Duty cycle on my 36lb/hr injectors (.60 lbs/minute).

    intercooler arrived

here is the ebay IC(china stuff).
    .

I plan on mounting that one in the rear wheelarch(driver side)of the fiero.
this way would isolate the intercooler from the heat in the
    enginecompartement.

another option would be the trunk compartement of the fiero..
but since I wanna remove most af the wall between trunk and
eng.comppartement it would warm up cause it would be in the
    same compatement(pretty much)

for cooling the charge I bought a motorbike cooler from a 1989zxr
kawasaki(ninja).this is pretty much a flat radiator of a modest size
compaired to the coolers from small cars.

I plan on installing that one in the nose.
