    That's what I also heard. Tejohnson did that with his motor. Used 5.7" SBC small journal rods and had them narrowed to fit the crank and had them notched to fit the stock 3400 bearings.

    You just have to have custom pistons made to fit the wrist pins if you go this route. That's what I would like to do eventually with mine.
